Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using honeytask ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

honeytask is a business automation platform that enables businesses to manage inbound requests, bookings, scheduling, resource tracking, and customer workflows through configurable capabilities. Features available to you depend on your subscription plan.

3. Accounts and Access

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information.
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Not share your account credentials with third parties.
• Not create accounts by automated means or under false pretenses.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Transmit spam, unsolicited messages, or deceptive communications.
• Upload malicious code or interfere with the Service's integrity.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
• Collect or harvest data from the Service without authorization.
• Impersonate any person or entity.

5. Multi-Tenant Data Isolation

Each business account ("Business") operates as an isolated tenant. Your data is logically separated from other businesses. You may not attempt to access, read, or modify data belonging to any other Business on the platform.

6. Subscription and Billing

Certain features require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. Refunds are provided at our discretion except where required by applicable law.

7. Customer Data

"Customer Data" means data you upload, submit, or generate through the Service. You retain ownership of your Customer Data. You grant honeytask a limited license to process Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Service. We will not sell your Customer Data to third parties.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by honeytask and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use honeytask's trademarks, logos, or branding. Feedback you provide may be used by us without restriction or compensation.

9. Third-Party Integrations

The Service may integrate with third-party services (e.g., Google Calendar, Stripe). Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or their availability.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, honeytask's total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) $100 USD. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless honeytask and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your Customer Data, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. We will retain Customer Data for a reasonable period to allow export, after which it may be deleted.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where honeytask is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
